Getting To The Lab

1. Enter the Downing Site through the gate on Downing Street, just across from the Cambridge City (formerly Crowne Plaza) Hotel. It is a large iron gate with bike racks just inside. You will find yourself in a court yard, looking at the Department of Plant Sciences (16) with the McDonald Institute for Archaeological Research (11) slightly on your left.
2. Exit the courtyard through the far left hand corner, and turn to the right. You will be looking down a road with buildings to either side and a black fence visible at the far end. The fence marks the end of the Downing Site.
3. Walk to the last building on the left, the William Hardy Building (7). Do not follow the signs to the Psychology Department. This will be the wrong building, although they will be very helpful if you do get lost!
4. Go into the main entrance of the William Hardy Building and climb up the stairs to the second floor. The Centre for Speech, Language and the Brain is on the right.
5. Please enter and wait at the reception on the right.
