Profile

How does our brain reorganize throughout our life? I investigated experience-dependent neural plasticity by comparing the structural scans between tonal and non-tonal language speakers for my BSc project. Now, I aim to observe the effect of brain reorganization due to ageing on linguistic behaviour.

During my undergraduate study, I worked as an intern in Institute of Cognitive Neuroscience (ICN) where I carried out two EEG projects. The aim of my first project was to observe the ERPs (event-related potentials) while cancelling an intentional action. For my second project, I investigated the ERPs when participants attempted to mentally inhibit an uncontrollable action initiated by MNS (median nerve stimulation).

In 2014, I received my BSc in psychology from University College London (UCL).
